This book complements the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car" by starting out with the EV evolution and EV Wars which resulted in the current market of Hybrid cars and puts a spotlight on the changes and erosion of the Californian Zero Emission Vehicle mandate. Indirectly, it indicates that the Northern Hemisphere currently has more development activity and a better hybrid car market than Australia.
Sherry also covers: the problems with Bio fuels and Hydrogen; that coal fired power for electric and hybrid cars is cleaner than oil; and that support is coming from all parts of the political spectrum such as neo-con security hawks and conservative Christian groups
